Winner 2023

The Nordic World Heritage Award 2023 has been awarded to the Rørosmuseet. The award was presented at the annual Nordic World Heritage Conference at Kirkjubæjarklaustur in Iceland which is part of Vatnajökull national park which was nominated as a World heritage site 2019.
The Rauma Award 2023 was granted to Røros Bergstaden og Circumferensen in Norway for their longstanding commitment to enhance the interaction between cultural preservation of the world heritage, local culture, business and tourism. The awareness of World Heritage and it´s values is exemplary in all parts of the local community and serves as an inspiration to all Nordic World Heritage sites and beyond
Odd Sletten, from Rørosmusmuseet accepted the award for Røros Bergstaden og Circumferensen in Norway, from Tove Damholt who handed them of the behalf of the Nordic World Heritage Association.
